Metal Map Measure

Double-sided map measure. This instrument is used to measure distances accurately on maps. It is particularly valuable for motorists, cyclists, hikers, architechs and for use in schools and offices. Directions for use: Set the pointer to -0- by turning the small wheel: then trace the route or distance to be measured with the wheel. The pointer will then indicate on the dial the exact distance measured in proportion to the scale of the map. The pointer will show the exact the exact distance in kilometres, statute miles or nautical miles.

Scales: 1:100,00; 1:75,000; 1:50,000; 1:25,000
