Trimble Business Center software is the complete office solution for GNSS post-processing satellite and all terrestrial survey data. Easily import field and reference data from a variety of sources including transferred data files, field devices, and the Internet. After processing, export your processed data directly to field devices or to a variety of file formats that can be imported into other design software packages.

• Manages all your field survey data, including optical instruments (total stations, levels), GPS/GNSS, spatial stations (spatial imaging and 3D scanning data).
• Enhanced graphic engine for fast and efficient data processing and display. Carry out surface modelling and 3D visualisation for quality assurance.

TBC is the next generation of survey software and supersedes TGO. TBC supports the Vista and Windows 7 and Windows XP Operating systems.

This course is aimed at those users who have already had the opportunity to understand the basic principles of TBC but have not gone into it in any depth. Session 1: Real time data collection using iBase and the new Trimble TDL 3G

This session looks at the benefits of using real time for data collection. The session will cover the setup of a real time connection method, using mobile phones and the new Trimble TDL 3G cellular modem accessory.  This session also includes practical field exercises using real time. 

Session 2: Downloading base station data from the iBase website using Rinex Shop

Can't download base data through Trimble Pathfinder Office or Trimble GPS Analyst, due to firewall restrictions? then this is the session for you. We'll show you how to download base data from the iBase website and be able to use it for post processing in Trimble Pathfinder Office and Trimble GPS Analyst

Session 3: Batch processing - Post processing the easy way

Batch processing is a handy tool within Trimble Pathfinder Office that enables users to automate post processing, from downloading data off a Trimble data collector to the export of data to GIS or CAD format. 

Session 4: Setting up the New Zealand Vertical Datum 2009 in TerraSync and Pathfinder

Are height measurements important in your data collection? The New Zealand Vertical Datum 2009 is the latest datum available for New Zealand, giving users more accurate height measurements. This session will discuss it use and how to set it up.

Session 5: Linking photographs with feature data - An introduction to the new Trimpix PRO

Are photographs of your assets or features you're capturing important?  Trimpix Pro enables customers with Trimble handhelds the ability to take high-resolution digital photographs with any SDHC-compatible digital camera, and to attribute them in the field within Trimble TerraSync. We'll show you how to set it up and use it through practical exercises.

Session 6: TerraSync Configuration manager - locking down TerraSync Settings

Do you want to lock down the settings in TerraSync? The TerraSync configuration manager enables you to build a profile that restricts changes to settings. This session will show you how to set up profiles in Trimble Pathfinder Office and send them to TerraSync.

Session 7: Data import & update

After collecting GPS data and populating your GIS database, it may be necessary to go back to the field and update your features and/or attribute information. Perhaps the attribute values have changed or the actual position of the feature has moved. This can be done days, months, or years after the GPS data was collected. In this session, we'll show you how to import and export your data in the GPS Pathfinder® Office software, and how to update your data in the field.

Session 8: Imap - Practical Session (TBA) or Using the Trimble SSF and DDF extension for FME software

• Using the Trimble SSF and DDF extension for FME software

New to the Trimble offerings is the Trimble® SSF and DDF data format extensions for FME, offering GPS Pathfinder® Office software users an interface between Trimble SSF and DDF files and hundreds of other file formats supported by the FME software platform from Safe Software. This session will look at this new add on and show user how to use it.
