Geosystems and Ricoh understand the needs of those using a GIS system. Thats why we supply the Ricoh 500SE which provides a definitive streamlined process to integrate quality images into mapping software applications.

The Ricoh 500SE’s waterproof and shock-resistant shell protects a high resolution 8MP sensor that is image stabilized and has an ultra rapid shutter response. Additional features include GPS track log capability, GPS lock (to record the position of an object as opposed to the position of the photographer), and the ability to send images wirelessly to handheld devices via Bluetooth or WiFi.

Available in two different configurations:

The Ricoh 500se with Bluetooth and WiFi for use with an external GPS receiver like the Pathfinder ProXB.

The Ricoh 500se with integrated GPS module and Bluetooth.

TrimPix technology enables you to quickly and easily add high quality digital photographs to your GIS data collection workflow. It allows selected Trimble handhelds running Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 - 6.0 to connect to a range of WiFi-capable Nikon COOLPIX digital cameras.

This technology can only be used with selcted WiFi-capavle Nikon COOLPIX digital cameras. The following camera models are currently supported:

All supported cameras include optical and digital zoom,and flash for dark environments. The TrimPix technology is designed for ease of use. Set the COOLPIX camera to "Shoot and Transfer" mode, and whenever you take a photograh,the digital image is sent to the Trimble handheld immediately and automatically.
