SCS900 Site Controller Tablet Edition and Site Supervisor System
Trimble SCS900 Site Controller Tablet Edition
The Trimble SCS900 Site Controller Software Tablet Edition (TE) combines the easy-to-use data management system of Trimble SCS900 software with the graphics capabilities and processing power of a tablet PC. In doing so, it extends the use of Trimble Site Positioning Systems to construction jobsite supervisors, foremen and project managers who coordinate job activities from a vehicle.
The Trimble SCS900 Site Controller TE combined with Trimble SPS651 (SPS751 / SPS851 Modular GPS Receiver or SPS781 / 881 SmartGPS Antenna) creates a powerful, vehicle mounted (quad-bike, pick-up or 4x4) Site Supervisor System.
Features & Benefits (to Site Supervisor) of the Trimble SCS900 TE
- View, review, and edit designs from a vehicle - Access to the same digital design data provided to crews.
- Real time cut and fill display - Drive the site, measuring elevation and monitoring cut/fill depths.
- Tools for side slope staking, computing volumes, and grade checking - Conduct site prep and checking activities from inside the vehicle.
- A simple and easy daily set-up of base station - Puts control of the GPS positioning system in the hands of the supervisor.

The system empowers site supervisors to better manage decision-making with portable site plans and designs, precise cut/ ill information, and real-time GPS positioning accuracy with precise vertical measurement.
Supervisors in highways, site preparation, earthworks, landfill, marine construction, and mining can use the Trimble SPS651 receiver and Trimble SCS900 Tablet Edition software for:
• Performing initial site measurement and verification of original ground levels
• Measuring and locating existing site features
• Monitoring real-time cut/fill information in a particular location
• Checking finished grade and laid material thickness against design elevations and tolerances
• Computing progress and material stockpile volumes
• Managing, monitoring, and conducting quality control for excavation and grading operations
• Assessing as-built measurements and generating reports for record keeping and payment purposes
